Hi, I’m Marija, the photographer behind Goldenlux Photography.

My photography journey began at Sheridan College, where I earned my Bachelor of Photography in 2017. I started my business the following year and, in 2021, rebranded as Goldenlux Photography—a name that reflects my passion for creating beautiful, meaningful images that stand the test of time.

 

I believe the best photographs are the ones that feel genuine. Whether it’s a quiet glance, a burst of laughter, or the small details that might otherwise go unnoticed, I’m drawn to the moments that tell your story naturally and authentically. My goal is to create images that not only look beautiful today but become treasured memories for years to come.

 

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting so many special milestones, and what continues to inspire me is knowing that these photographs will be shared, revisited, and cherished long after the moment has passed.

These days, my boyfriend Nikola often joins me as an assistant and second shooter. His positive energy, creativity, and fresh perspective have become an important part of the experience we provide for all clients.

 

When I’m behind the camera, my focus is on making you feel comfortable, confident, and truly present so your personality can shine through in every image.
